Industrial Electrician
Location: Midlands
Contract: 3-6 months
IR35: Inside IR35
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support wastewater treatment and industrial projects in the Wolverhampton area. This is a site-based role requiring strong industrial electrical experience, particularly around pumps, motors and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works on industrial and wastewater sites.
Working on pumps, motors, control panels and associated equipment.
Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues.
Carrying out testing and basic electrical inspections.
Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Working safely around mechanical and electrical plant.
Completing relevant site documentation and maintenance records.
Following all site health & safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Industrial Electrician in an industrial, water/wastewater, manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong experience working with industrial pumps, motors and associated equipment.
Confident with electrical fault finding and maintenance.
Comfortable working on active industrial and wastewater sites.
Relevant electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
18th Edition qualification.
EUSR Water Hygiene and relevant site safety certifications would be advantageous.
Confined Space and Working at Heights training would be beneficial.
Domestic electrical experience alone will not be suitable for this position
