Job Description
Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer to join an established heating and plumbing business covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
As a Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer, you will primarily attend domestic properties carrying out boiler breakdowns, fault finding, servicing and emergency heating and plumbing repairs.
The role
Boiler breakdowns, diagnostics and fault finding
Domestic boiler servicing and repairs
Emergency plumbing and heating repairs
Leak tracing and access
Basic plumbing repairs
Work across a variety of boiler manufacturers
Complete reports, photographs and Gas Safe documentation
Participate in a weekend rota
Deliver excellent customer service as a Domestic Heating Breakdown EngineerThe successful Domestic Heating Breakdown Engineer will need
Minimum 3 years' boiler breakdown and repair experience
Strong domestic heating and plumbing knowledge
Experience across a range of boiler manufacturers
CCN1
CENWAT
CKR1
HTR1
NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, City & Guilds or substantial relevant experience
G3 Unvented Hot Water would be advantageous
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding skills expected of an experienced Domestic Heating Breakdown EngineerPackage
£35,000-£40,000 basic salary
