Job Description
Play a key role in assembling hydraulic, industrial and composite hose assemblies used across a range of industrial and energy applications. Hydrasun are looking for a Hose Assembly Technician to join our Glasgow workshop. ' • Assembling hydraulic, industrial and composite hose assemblies to approved procedures and customer specifications. • Reading job tickets, specifications and drawings to ensure accurate material selection and assembly. • Carrying out pressure testing. • Preparing completed assemblies for dispatch. • Ensuring compliance with HSE, and quality requirements. ? In this role, you'll be working on products critical to fluid transfer and hydraulic systems used across a variety of industries. Attention to detail, quality and safety are essential, and the work you complete has a direct impact on customer operations. The role offers a combination of practical assembly work, quality assurance and technical development, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build specialist product knowledge. ' • Experience working within a production, manufacturing or workshop environment. • A strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail. • Ability to follow technical instructions, procedures and specifications. • Reliable, flexible approach to work. • Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team. • Secondary school education in English and Mathematics. • Hose assembly / Hydraulic experience. • Experience using termination and pressure testing equipment. • Counterbalance Forklift Certificate. • Knowledge of hydraulic hoses, fittings and related products. • City & Guilds 2340 Part 1 qualification.
