The opportunity
An organisation within the Defence & Security space is looking for a Security-Cleared Project Manager to support delivery of software, infrastructure, and technology remediation projects within a Digital Backbone Portfolio. You'll work under direction of the Programme Manager to plan and deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Key responsibilities
Deliver software and infrastructure projects end-to-end (initiation through completion)
Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
Coordinate internal delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
Track performance and provide governance / status reporting
Ensure adherence to governance, security, change control and delivery processes
Support budgeting, planning, and delivery oversight across stakeholders
What you'll bring (essential)
Proven delivery of software and/or infrastructure projects in enterprise environments
Strong stakeholder and supplier management
Solid experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting
Confident risk/issue management
Methodology knowledge: PRINCE2 / Agile / Waterfall / hybrid
Security clearance suitable for Defence & Security work
Desirable
Experience across infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, cyber security, or obsolescence remediation
Certifications: PRINCE2 / APM PMQ / PMP (or equivalent)
