QA/QC Electrical Inspector - Nuclear Location: Cumbria Working Pattern: 4 days per week, 9-hour days Rate: £45-£50 per hour IR35: Inside IR35 Contract: Long-term, minimum 12 months Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Inspector to support work on a nuclear facility in Cumbria. This is a long-term contract opportunity, with a minimum initial duration of 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring electrical works meet the required quality, inspection and testing standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical quality assurance and quality control inspections. Inspect and verify electrical installation works against drawings, specifications and quality requirements. Complete inspection and testing activities. Identify and report quality issues, defects and non-conformances. Ensure electrical works comply with relevant standards and project requirements. Maintain accurate inspection and quality records. Work closely with site teams, engineers and project management to ensure quality standards are maintained. Requirements City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing (essential). Minimum 3 years' experience working as an Electrical QA/QC Inspector or similar. CSCS card. SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance. Previous experience working within nuclear, highly regulated or similarly controlled environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of electrical inspection, testing and quality requirements. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently on site.
