Job Description
Emberstone Recruitment are currently seeking a Contract Fire Door Carpenter for a prominent client based in Ilford, London for a 6 month contract. This role involves working across various social housing locations within Ilford, where you will be responsible for the installation and fitting of fire doors. The position requires a candidate with prior experience specifically in fire doors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and precise finishing. You will be transporting doors to different sites daily, therefore, a large van is essential for the task. The work schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a competitive daily rate of £270. The company provides free parking and easy access to materials, as doors are stored in a lock-up with convenient proximity to each site. The successful candidate will start on Monday, 28th, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced carpenters to join a well-organised team on a long-term contract.
Previous experience in fire door installation and maintenance
Must have a large van for transportation to multiple sites
Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to fire doors
Ability to work independently across different locations within Ilford
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
