Site Engineer – Freelance
Location: Newcastle
Rate: £350 per day
Duration: 4 months
Sector: Civil Engineering / Section 278 Works
Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer for a 4-month freelance position in Newcastle.
The project is working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering Section 278 works, including highways, drainage, kerbing and associated infrastructure works.
Responsibilities
* Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs and associated civils works
* Working from drawings and specifications
* Producing and maintaining accurate site records
* Quality assurance and as-built surveys
* Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team
* Ensuring works are delivered accurately and safely
Requirements
* Previous Site Engineer experience on civil engineering projects
* Strong experience with Section 278 / highways works
* Confident using robotic total stations and GPS
* CSCS card
* Own laptop with AutoCAD preferred
* Able to work independently on site
Rate: £350 per day
Duration: Approximately 4 months
