Job Description
Location: Peterlee Pay: £14.36 per hour (£12.71 basic + £0.50 FLT allowance + £1.15 night shift premium) Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 5:00pm – 2:00am Job Type: Temporary We are seeking an experienced FLT Reach Driver to join our busy warehouse team in Peterlee. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Reach Driver looking for a night shift role with competitive remuneration. About the Role As an FLT Reach Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock within the warehouse, including loading and unloading vehicles and supporting general warehouse operations. Please note that this role is based in a cold warehouse environment, so candidates should be comfortable working in cooler temperatures. Essential: Reach Truck experience and a valid Reach Truck licence. Desirable: Counterbalance experience and a valid Counterbalance licence. Shift Pattern Sunday to Thursday 5:00pm – 2:00am Potential for extension subject to business needs Pay Details £12.71 per hour basic rate £0.50 per hour FLT allowance £1.15 per hour night shift premium Total: £14.36 per hour Key Responsibilities Operate a Reach Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Move and store stock accurately within the warehouse Load and unload vehicles promptly and safely Pick and position stock with care and precision Support general warehouse duties as required Adhere to all health and safety procedures Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment Candidate Requirements Valid Reach Truck FLT licence (essential) Proven Reach Truck experience (essential) Counterbalance experience and/or licence (desirable) Previous warehouse experience preferred Sound knowledge of health and safety protocols Comfortable working in a cold environment Reliable, punctual and diligent work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a team INDNC
