Job Description
We’re working with a highly reputable national Built Environment Consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join their growing Manchester office. The business works on a diverse range of projects, from major schemes with values exceeding £200m through to smaller, client-focused developments across the UK. Sectors include Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Advanced Manufacturing and Defence. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to take on a senior role, with the opportunity to play a leading part on projects, support BIM delivery and mentor other members of the team. The Role * Lead the delivery of projects in line with BIM protocols, including reviewing and agreeing BEPs. * Produce detailed structural drawings and models using Revit Structure and AutoCAD. * Develop GA drawings, sections, details and schedules for a range of structural schemes. * Work closely with structural engineers, architects, M&E teams and external consultants. * Check drawings and deliverables to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy. * Support and mentor other technicians within the team. * Assist with managing technician resources and project workloads. * Attend site inspections, project meetings and design workshops where required. * Help manage project deliverables, programmes and information requirements. * Ensure BIM, QA and document management procedures are maintained. About You We’re looking for someone with: * ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Building Structures or Civil Engineering preferred. * Strong experience working within a structural engineering consultancy. * Good experience of UK building projects. * Proficiency in Revit Structure and BIM processes. * Experience producing structural drawings for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber structures. * The ability to work independently while also supporting and mentoring colleagues. * Strong communication and coordination skills.
