Job Description
Full-Time 7.5T Driver – Multi-Drop
Location: HX1, Halifax
Pay Rate: £13.76 per hour
Hours: 7:00am – approximately 4:00pm
Position: Full-Time
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5T Driver to join our busy delivery operation on a full-time basis.
The role involves multi-drop deliveries, loading and unloading goods, and regular manual handling, so the successful candidate must be comfortable with physically demanding work.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle on planned delivery routes.

Complete multi-drop deliveries to various customer locations.
*
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
*
Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.
*
Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
*
Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
*
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
*
Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
*
Follow all relevant transport, health and safety regulations.
Requirements
*
Valid Category C1 (7.5T) licence.
*
Valid Driver CPC.
*
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
*
Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
*
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
*
Reliable, punctual and professional.
*
Able to work independently and manage delivery routes effectively.
*
Good communication and customer service skills.
*
Safety-conscious approach to driving and vehicle operation.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking and professional driver who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and can work efficiently in a busy delivery environment.
This is a full-time position, working approximately 7:00am to 4:00pm, with the finish time dependent on the delivery route.
Pay Rate: £13.76 per hour
