We're looking for a hands-on Transport Manager to take full ownership of our transport function and join the site leadership team. You'll run a nationwide operation of 60+ vehicles, manage an office team of 5, and have real influence over a business-critical part of the company.
The role
* Running daily transport operations, hitting service, cost and compliance targets
* Leading, coaching and developing your office team and driver workforce
* Keeping the fleet maintained, legal and compliant with O-Licence standards via approved service providers
* Tracking performance, solving problems in real time and driving improvement
* Acting as a key voice in the site leadership team

With a mixed fleet of artics and rigids under an O-Licence. A CPC isn't essential — but you must be prepared to work towards it and gain it within your first 12 months.
