HGV Class 1 Night Tramper Driver – Sunday to Thursday Location: Hellaby, Rotherham Pay: £190 per shift + Night out Payment OTE: £57,500 per annum Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday Start Times: PM / Evening Starts Prime Personnel Solutions is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Tramper Drivers on behalf of our client in Hellaby, Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 / C+E Drivers looking for regular, long-term night tramping work with consistent PM start times, competitive earnings and weekends at home. The Role As an HGV Class 1 Night Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across the UK as part of a major distribution operation. This is a night tramping position, with drivers starting their shifts during the afternoon or evening and spending nights away throughout the working week. Duties will include: * Driving Class 1 / C+E vehicles across the UK * Working regular PM and night shifts * Completing deliveries and collections safely and on time * Tramping throughout the working week * Carrying out daily vehicle checks * Reporting any vehicle defects * Completing relevant paperwork and documentation * Following driver hours and tachograph regulations * Maintaining high standards of road safety and compliance * Communicating with the transport and operations teams * Representing the client professionally at customer sites Pay and Benefits * £190 guaranteed per shift * £26.20 per night out * OTE £57,500 per annum * Sunday to Thursday working pattern * PM / evening start times * Night tramping work * Modern Fleet * Ongoing training and development * 24/7 operational support * Regular, long-term work Driver Requirements To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Night Tramper Driver role, you must have: * Valid UK HGV Class 1 / C+E Licence * Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card * Valid Digital Tachograph Card * Good knowledge of driver hours and transport regulations * Strong focus on safety and compliance * Professional and reliable attitude * Good communication skills * Flexibility to work PM and night start times * Comfortable with nights away from home during the working week Previous night driving or tramping experience is desirable, although not essential for the right candidate
