Parts Manager – £42,000 – Chesterfield Full-Time, Permanent Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd – Recruiting on behalf of our client Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead a busy Parts Department for our engineering sector client in Chesterfield. This role requires a confident, proactive leader with strong operational knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage a team of 4–6 staff within the Parts Department. * Oversee spare parts procurement, stock control, and inventory accuracy. * Ensure efficient distribution and timely delivery of parts to customers. * Handle quotations, order processing, returns, and invoicing. * Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. * Monitor KPIs and implement improvements across the department. * Support warehouse operations when required (packing goods, forklift use). * Maintain accurate pricing, promotions, and online activity. * Work collaboratively with internal departments to improve processes. * Identify obsolete stock and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Contribute to business development and drive parts sales growth. Essential Requirements * Proven managerial experience overseeing a team of approx. 4–6 people. * Confident, proactive, and highly motivated approach. * Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure. * Willingness to undertake hands-on duties when required. * Industry background in construction or automotive. * Comfortable picking up the phone and engaging with customers. * Actively seeking a new role. Desirable Skills * SAP S4 Hana experience. * Experience posting promotional content on LinkedIn. * 10+ years management experience.
