Estates / Property Surveyor Working Arrangement: Flexible / Hybrid – predominantly remote, with approximately 1 day per week required for site visits Hours: Part time- 3 days The Role We are seeking an experienced Estates / Property Surveyor to support the management of an established property portfolio across Dundee and the surrounding area. The role will have a strong focus on lease management and general estates functions, ensuring the portfolio is effectively managed and key lease events are proactively addressed. Key Responsibilities * Manage an existing commercial property lease portfolio. * Lead on lease renewals, rent reviews and key lease events. * Provide general estates and property management advice. * Monitor and manage lease obligations, ensuring key dates and actions are identified and progressed. * Support the ongoing management and optimisation of the property portfolio. * Undertake property/site visits, approximately one day per week, across the Dundee area. * Liaise with tenants, agents, solicitors and other professional advisers as required. * Provide professional advice on wider property and estates matters. About You We are ideally looking for a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with strong experience in lease management and general estates work, although chartership is not essential for the right candidate. Previous public-sector experience would be advantageous, but candidates from a private-sector property background with relevant experience will also be considered. You should have experience of: * Commercial lease management * Lease renewals and rent reviews * Lease events and portfolio management * General estates/property management * Working across a varied commercial property portfolio The portfolio predominantly comprises workshops, factories and other miscellaneous commercial assets, so experience across a diverse property portfolio would be beneficial. The organisation can offer a flexible working arrangement, with no requirement for regular office attendance and approximately one day per week required for property visits
