Brake Press Setter / Operator
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Salary: £600 per week plus overtime
Employment: Permanent, full-time
Start: Immediate
A manufacturing company based in Tyseley, Birmingham, is looking for an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator.
Duties include:
* Setting and operating Amada CNC brake press machines.
* Producing one-off and bespoke stainless-steel components.
* Working with stainless-steel sheet, generally 1mm–3mm and occasionally up to 5mm.
* Reading and working from engineering drawings.
* Carrying out tooling changes.
* Adjusting machine settings to achieve the required dimensions.
* Checking finished components for accuracy and quality.
Experience required:
* Previous experience setting and operating brake presses.
* Experience with Amada machines would be advantageous.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
* Experience working with stainless steel.
* Good attention to detail.
* Reliable approach to work.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Overtime is available.
