Birley Spa Primary Academy
Birley Primary Academy
Charnock Hall Primary Academy
Rainbow Forge Primary Academy

About the Role
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the primary phase. Responsibilities include:
Delivering pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Leading small‑group interventions and targeted support
Providing 1:1 support where required
Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
Supporting teachers with planning, assessment and classroom routines
Helping maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Requirements
HLTA qualification or strong TA experience with proven cover experience
Confidence delivering lessons independently
Strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A proactive, flexible and supportive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
