Start Date: 5th October 2026
Duration: 6–7 weeks
Position: Temporary Contract
Project: Internal Fit-Out – Sky Bridge
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an internal fit-out project on a sky bridge in Huddersfield.
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong electrical background, with previous experience managing internal fit-out or M&E-related works.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day activities on site
* Supervising subcontractors and site operatives
* Coordinating internal fit-out works and electrical activities
* Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required standard
* Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the project team
* Monitoring progress and reporting back to the Project Manager
* Ensuring site health & safety requirements are followed
* Managing site documentation, permits and relevant records
* Coordinating different trades to ensure the project runs efficiently
* Dealing with any issues or challenges that arise on site
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Manager
* Electrical background/experience – essential
* Experience working on internal fit-out projects
* Strong understanding of electrical works and coordination of trades
* Good knowledge of health & safety and site procedures
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage subcontractors and keep works on programme
* Relevant site qualifications, including SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
