Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Bristol Salary: £28,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, split day shifts between 6:00am - 7:00pm Contract: Permanent, Full-Time   A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team at a commercial static site in Bristol, with occasional cover required across four additional sites. What you'll do: Carry out basic planned and reactive maintenance across a commercial building. Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks including basic fabric repairs, fixtures, fittings, doors, and other building services requirements. Respond to maintenance requests and ensure faults are dealt with efficiently to maintain smooth site operations. Carry out routine inspections and identify any maintenance issues requiring further attention. Oversee stock levels and materials, ensuring required parts and supplies are available to support service delivery. Support maintenance requirements across four additional sites on an occasional basis. Maintain accurate records and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures. What you'll bring: Previous experience within a maintenance, facilities, or building services environment. Good practical maintenance and repair skills. Ability to carry out basic building fabric and general maintenance duties. Good organisational skills, particularly around stock and materials management. A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to maintenance.
