Senior Property Services Advisor Location: Beeston, Midlands NG9 Pay Rate: £16.30 per hour PAYE Contract: Temporary, 6 months Start Date: 5th October 2026 to April 2027 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday DBS Required: No The Role We are looking for experienced and customer-focused Senior Property Services Advisors to join a busy Property Desk team. As the first point of contact for residents, contractors and colleagues, you will handle a wide range of property maintenance and repair enquiries via telephone, email, online chat and face-to-face contact. This role is ideal for someone with housing, property maintenance or repairs experience who can provide excellent customer service while accurately diagnosing repairs and raising works orders. You will play a key role in ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, delivering a positive customer experience from first contact through to resolution. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for residents reporting repairs and maintenance issues. Accurately diagnose repair requests and raise works orders for contractors. Provide professional advice and guidance on property maintenance matters. Respond to urgent and emergency repair enquiries quickly and effectively. Liaise with contractors, delivery partners and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales. Manage customer enquiries, complaints and escalations, ensuring they are appropriately recorded and resolved. Support customers visiting reception with property-related queries. Record and maintain accurate information across property management systems. Handle communications from external agencies including local authorities, emergency services and healthcare professionals where required. Contribute to service improvements by providing feedback and identifying trends.About You Previous experience handling repairs or maintenance enquiries within housing, property or related sectors. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with difficult situations. Ability to diagnose repairs and instruct contractors appropriately. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing changing priorities. Good IT skills, including experience using databases, CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Experience within social housing or property maintenance is desirable.
