NET Developer
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 DOE
Location: Colchester, Essex (Hybrid)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
Join a growing software team working on a range of real-world business systems, from web applications and APIs to integrations, data platforms and order management tools.
You’ll be hands-on with C#, .NET and SQL, developing new functionality while improving and supporting existing systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
* Build and support REST APIs and third-party integrations
* Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
* Integrate APIs and data feeds using JSON, XML and CSV
* Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues and integration problems
* Work closely with colleagues to turn business requirements into practical solutions
What We’re Looking For
* Good experience with C# or another object-oriented language
* Understanding of web development fundamentals – HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* A proactive approach and willingness to learn
Desirable: .NET Core, EF Core, Blazor, REST APIs, SQL Server, Umbraco, IIS or Windows Server experience.
