Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Solihull, West Midlands. The Vehicle Technician will work in a modern, fully equipped workshop, servicing a variety of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models. Ongoing training, development, and professional qualification opportunitiesDuties for the Vehicle Technician position:
Carrying out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on diverse vehicles
Working on mechanical systems including suspension, brakes, steering, and exhausts
Performing diagnostic checks and fault diagnostics using electronic diagnostic tools
Servicing and repairing hybrid and electric vehicles (training provided)
Fitting manufacturer-approved accessories and upgrades
Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
Providing excellent customer service and collaborating effectively with workshop colleaguesRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Full UK driving license
MOT testing licence (desirable, not essential)
Hybrid or EV qualification (advantageous, not essential; full training provided)
