HGV Technician £25ph  Location: Essex Pay: £25.00 per hour (£55,250 per year) + Overtime at 1.5x Hours: 42.5 hours per week Shift Pattern: Alternate early and late shifts Week 1: Monday-Friday 06:00-15:00 Week 2: Monday-Friday 13:00-22:00 Additional: Alternate Saturday mornings paid at overtime rate Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Tru Talent is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking to work with modern vehicles, advanced diagnostic equipment, strong earning potential and ongoing technical development. The successful HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and diagnosing faults on a range of heavy commercial vehicles while working to manufacturer and DVSA standards. Benefits £25.00 per hour (£55,250 per year) Overtime paid at 1.5x Alternate Saturdays paid at overtime rate 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays, rising to 33 with service Company pension scheme Free death in service insurance IRTEC qualification support Manufacturer training and development opportunities Modern workshop facilities and diagnostic equipment Work on the latest commercial vehicle technology The Role As an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will: Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on HGVs Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment Complete MOT preparation and inspections to DVSA standards Maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles to a high standard Complete accurate job cards and repair documentation Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment Maintain excellent health and safety standards The Requirements To be considered for this HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter, or Commercial Vehicle Technician role, you will need: Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability Ability to complete repairs and maintenance to a high standard Own tools Full UK driving licence HGV or PSV licence desirable but not essential IRTEC qualification desirable but not essential Apply Today If you are an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician based in or around Maidstone, apply today or call Ben on (phone number removed).
