Yard Operative - Oxford
Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Yard Operative in Oxford?
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy and successful team, working Monday to Friday with every other Saturday. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is physically fit, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.
The Role
As a Yard Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a friendly, busy and supportive team
Sorting and organising stock
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving materials and stock around the yard and warehouse
Working both indoors and outdoors
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following all relevant Health & Safety procedures
Supporting the wider warehouse and yard operations as requiredAbout You
The successful candidate will:
Be physically fit and comfortable being on their feet throughout the working day
Have good communication skills
Be reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in
Be able to work effectively as part of a small team
Have a good awareness of Health & Safety
Have a Forklift Truck (FLT Bendi) licence - advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidateWorking Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
Every other Saturday: 7:00am - 11am
