Job Description
A/C Engineer – (Static Maintenance) Location: Central London Salary: £26 - £30ph Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri The Role Connect Grp UK are recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning (A/C) Engineer to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on role covering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs across a portfolio of commercial/residential projects. You'll be responsible for keeping HVAC and refrigeration systems running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled PPM servicing on air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems in line with maintenance schedules Respond to reactive call-outs and breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently Complete fault-finding, repairs, and part replacements on a range of A/C systems (split, VRF/VRV, chillers, AHUs, etc.) Carry out gas handling, refrigerant recovery, and re-gassing in line with F-Gas regulations Complete accurate service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation Ensure all work is carried out safely, in line with health & safety and industry regulations Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency call-outs What We're Looking For Proven experience as an A/C / HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential) Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a range of A/C and refrigeration systems Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach Please apply online and a member of the Connect Grp UK team will be in contact to discuss your application
