Estimator – Demolition
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £50,000–£55,000
Start: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join an established demolition and strip-out contractor based in Nottingham.
The company operates nationwide, with the majority of its work across the Midlands, delivering projects ranging from small works through to approximately £1m.
The Role
* Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for demolition and strip-out projects
* Review tender enquiries, drawings, specifications and scopes of work
* Produce detailed take-offs and pricing
* Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
* Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Assess project risks, costs and requirements
* Assist with tender submissions and commercial negotiations
* Work across industrial, commercial and residential projects
* Predominantly deal with internal strip-outs and demolition works
* Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
* Support the business in securing new work
* Projects typically range from £1,000 to £1m
* Nationwide operations, with a strong Midlands focus
* Work closely with the operational team to ensure accurate project handovers
Requirements
* Previous estimating experience within demolition is highly desirable
* Experience within strip-out, enabling works or a related construction sector will be considered
* Strong understanding of demolition methodologies and associated costs
* Ability to interpret drawings and project specifications
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Good communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
* Ideally based within commuting distance of Nottingham
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience.
