Job Description
Role: Plant & Tool Fitter
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Salary: £15.50 per hour (Basic)
Overtime: £23.25 per hour ( Monday- Friday ) , £31 per hour (Saturday)
Shift Timings: 7:00am to 5:00pm
Contracted Hours: 45 hours per week

Rocket Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Plant & Tool Fitter to join a busy team in Bracknell . This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking for long-term work with consistent hours.
* Servicing, repairing and maintaining HGVs, plant and heavy machinery
* Working across a varied range of equipment, meaning no two days are the same
* Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine repairs
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
* Completing preventative maintenance and routine inspections
* Preparing machinery and vehicles for work
* Attending breakdowns and responding to repair requirements when needed
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Keeping accurate records of servicing and repairs
* Working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Requirments
* Experience as an HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar
* Strong mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills
* Experience working on plant, HGVs or other heavy machinery
* Qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is desirable but not essential
* Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
* Comfortable working on a variety of machinery and adapting to different challenges
* Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work to a high standard
* Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
