Health & Safety Manager Main Contractor | North London | £65,000 - £75,000 + Package Shirley Parsons is partnering with a leading main contractor to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of a major project in North London, while also contributing to a wider portfolio of projects across London. The Role As Health & Safety Manager, you will take the lead on all health and safety matters for a flagship project in North London, working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders to drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance across site activities. Responsibilities Lead and promote a proactive health & safety culture across project teams Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety reviews Provide professional advice and guidance to operational teams and management Support incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are communicated effectively Review RAMS and monitor site compliance with company and legislative requirements Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders Support wider business operations across London projects when required Requirements Previous experience working as a Health & Safety Manager within the construction industry Construction and/or Civil Engineering experience is essential Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and industry best practice NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to influence positive behavioural change on site Confident, proactive, and visible safety leader with a strong site presence What's On Offer? £65,000 - £75,000 basic salary Competitive benefits package Long-term career progression opportunities Exposure to major construction and civil engineering projects across London Opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong order book and exciting growth plans If you're interested in discussing this opportunity further, please apply directly or send your CV to (url removed)
