Specialist SEN School
Teaching English to Secondary-aged students
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated and accessible English lessons
Supporting students to develop their literacy, communication and confidence
Working with students with a range of additional needs
Adapting lessons and resources to meet individual student needs
Working closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff
Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring student progress and contributing to individual learning plans

UK QTS is essential
At least 1 year's teaching experience within a school
Qualified and experienced in teaching English at Secondary level
Experience working within either SEN or mainstream education
A strong understanding of SEN and additional needs
Previous experience working with SEN students is desirable
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential
Patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education
