Job Description
Slinger / Signaller – Night Shift
Location: Oxfordshire
Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026
Duration: Up to 3 weeks
Shift: Nights
Rate: £26.00–£28.00 per hour CIS
We are looking for an experienced, ticketed Slinger / Signaller to work on a short-term infrastructure project near Witney, Oxfordshire.
The project involves site clearance works and will initially run for up to 3 weeks on night shifts.
Duties will include:
• Carrying out Slinger / Signaller duties on site
• Safely directing lifting operations and plant movements
• Working closely with crane and plant operators
• Establishing and maintaining safe working and exclusion zones
• Using the correct hand signals and radio communication
• Ensuring lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures
• Supporting the wider site team as required
Requirements:
• Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger / Signaller ticket
• In-date Safety Critical Medical – essential
• Previous experience working as a Slinger / Signaller
• Strong understanding of safe lifting operations
• Available to start Monday 21st September
• Able to work night shifts for the duration of the project
