Job Title: Cable-Stayed Bridge Specialist
Location: Peterborough
Start Date: 2 November 2026
Contract Length: 7 weeks - through to Christmas
Rate: Competitive / Negotiable DOE
Payment: CIS route available
We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Cable-Stayed Bridge Specialist to support a major bridge construction project in Peterborough.
This is a short-term specialist assignment where you'll provide technical support and guidance to the site and engineering teams during the installation and construction of the bridge.
Key Requirements
·Significant cable-stayed bridge construction experience
·Strong knowledge of bridge erection, cable installation and stressing
·Experience with construction planning, sequencing and installation methodologies
·Ability to provide practical technical guidance to site and engineering teams
·Previous experience working on major bridge or complex infrastructure projects
The ideal candidate will have a strong site-based background and demonstrable experience supporting the erection and installation of cable-stayed bridge structures.
Candidates must be available to start 2 November 2026 for the full 7-week assignment through to Christmas.
