Veritas Education is working with a number of welcoming schools across Burnley that are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with a range of additional needs. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals. You may be working on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or supporting a whole class alongside the teacher. You could be supporting pupils with: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Speech and Language difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Learning difficulties and additional educational needs Physical or sensory needs What We're Looking For We welcome applications from candidates with SEN experience in any sector, including: Schools and education settings Residential care Supported living environments Youth work Nursery settings Healthcare and support work Community and outreach servicesThe ideal candidate will: Be patient, caring and resilient.
