Hours Day shift: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:00 | Friday 07:30 – 12:30 About the Company Our client is an established advanced engineering group that has supplied the Aerospace industry for over 50 years, delivering right-first-time solutions from purpose-built facilities. The Role Based at a bespoke engineering facility in Atherton, you’ll be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of Jigs & Fixtures for the Aerospace and Nuclear industries. Main Duties * Manufacture and assembly of jigs and fixtures * Working from engineering drawings and setup instructions * Inspecting and measuring work using micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments * Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and safety within the toolroom * Occasional offsite work, both in the UK and overseas What We’re Looking For * You must have the legal right to work in the UK * Familiar with toolroom machinery with a good understanding of engineering drawings * Competent with manual and digital measuring instruments * Assembly/fitting skills with good attention to detail (desirable) * Aerospace experience beneficial but not essential * All roles require pre-employment security screening checks, including referencing What’s On Offer? * £18.00 per hour * 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays * Benefits package with access to discounts from leading retailers * Purpose-built site with free parking * Discounted gym membership * Excellent career development opportunities * Early finish Friday (12:30) Our client is committed to creating an inclusive environment where employees can reach their full potential, and welcomes applications from candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, particularly groups currently under-represented in the sector.
