This well-established business based in Camberley are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Title:          Assistant Management Accountant Job Type:         Perm   Location:        Camberley, Surrey Salary:            £32,000 - £35,000 per annum   Reference no: 16145 Assistant Management Accountant – About The Role In this role you will be working within a finance team of 10 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be overseeing 2 members of staff and your key responsibilities will be: Supporting the preparation of management accounts for 4 entities Support with balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding debtors Completing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records Preparing weekly payment runs Reconciling supplier, customer and inter-company accounts Managing petty cash and company credit card reconciliation Overseeing 2 members of staff and providing regular support Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have: Previous experience in a similar position Be actively studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA Experience in using Xero is desirable   Strong attention to detail Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
