Are you an enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a new opportunity with an immediate start? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Didcot is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and wants to support young pupils through an important stage of their education.
The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess pupil progress and adapt your teaching accordingly.
Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
Encourage confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil achievement.
About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous Key Stage 1 teaching experience.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable teaching style.
High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour.
A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
