WORKSHOP MECHANICAL FITTER
Aberdeen | £17.00–£20.00 per hour | Mon–Fri | 39 hours
Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Workshop Mechanical Fitter.
Immediate start | Temp-to-perm opportunity
The Role
Working in a busy Aberdeen workshop, you’ll be involved in the mechanical assembly, testing, refurbishment and maintenance of specialist equipment used within the oil & gas industry.
You’ll need:
* Strong mechanical fitting/assembly background
* Around 5 years’ mechanical assembly experience
* Good knowledge of hydraulics
* Small-bore pipe fitting experience
* Experience carrying out FAT testing
* Strong practical problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible, reliable and positive approach
A broad, multi-skilled mechanical background would be highly beneficial.
Location: Kirkhill Place, Dyce, Aberdeen
Hours: Mon–Fri, 39 hrs per week
Pay: £17–£20 pr hr
Type: Immediate start, full-time, temp-to-perm
You must be able to reliably commute to the Aberdeen site.
