Senior Site Manager

Senior Site Manager Bideford £65,000-£68,000 & Package Sphere Solutions are working with a successful large regional contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major new scheme in Bideford, North Devon. The successful Senior Site Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day construction activities on this major development, working closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider project team. Key Responsibilities * Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of construction activities * Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and trades * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards * Plan, coordinate and monitor construction activities across the development * Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider project team * Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners * Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or issues * Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards * Manage site logistics, sequencing and resource requirements * Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks * Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are met * Attend and contribute to site and project meetings * Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders * Provide leadership, direction and support to the wider site team About You: * Proven experience as a Senior Site Manage * Strong traditional build experience * Previous experience delivering multi-storey residential developments or apartment schemes * Experience working with precast concrete and complex structural elements * Experience managing subcontractors and large site teams * A strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics The contractor is keen to interview quickly, so applications are being considered immediately.
