They look after small and medium-sized businesses across the full range, from bookkeeping and payroll through to management accounts, tax and advisory work. So the bookkeeping sits next to the advisory side rather than being processed off in a corner. Their reputation is built on communication. The role You would look after your own portfolio of SME clients and be the person they come to, rather than passing work up a chain. Day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients VAT returns, start to finish Bank reconciliations and keeping the ledgers clean Incomplete records through to trial balance Supporting monthly and quarterly management accounts Helping with payroll where it is needed Talking to clients directly about records, queries and deadlines Getting clients comfortable with their accounting software Remote, but Kent based.
