Shunter / Cleaner
Pay: £14.00
Ongoing temporary position
Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off nights
Our client is looking to recruit a Shunter/Cleaner to join their Bus Presentation Team in Bournemouth. You will be flexible, self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative. You will also enjoy working as part of a dedicated team ensuring their buses are prepared for service.
This role would suit someone with experience as a:
* Shunter or Yard Operative
* Bus, Coach, PSV or HGV Driver
* Vehicle Cleaner or Valeter
* Fueller or Refuelling Operative
* Depot Operative
* Transport or Logistics Operative
* Warehouse or Night Shift Operative
* Commercial Vehicle Assistant
Previous commercial experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided, so we are also interested in reliable candidates with a full driving licence who are comfortable working nights in a busy, hands-on environment.
Duties & responsibilities of a Shunter / Cleaner:
* Moving the vehicles to different part of the depot
* Refuel the vehicles on their return to the depot
* Ensure the vehicle's interior meets our high standard of cleanliness
* Wash the vehicle exterior – using the mechanical wash
* Park the vehicle safely in the depot
Training & qualification Shunter / Cleaner:
* You must have a full drivers licence
* You must be happy to complete a drug and alcohol test
