SEN TUTOR
1:1 Tuition | SEN | EBSA | Anxiety | Flexible Support
Academics are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support to children and young people across the Medway area.
Are you a SEN Tutor, Teacher, HLTA or experienced education professional who is passionate about helping children who have struggled to engage with mainstream education?

The Role
As a SEN Tutor, you will work on a 1:1 basis with children and young people who may be experiencing:
SEN and additional learning needs
EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
Anxiety and school-related barriers
Low confidence and motivation
Difficulties engaging with education
Social, emotional and behavioural needsYou will provide a calm, supportive and nurturing learning environment, building a positive relationship with the student and helping them to rebuild their confidence in education.
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from SEN Tutors and Teachers who have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Understanding of EBSA, anxiety or school avoidance
A patient, nurturing and trauma-informed approach
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or intervention
The ability to adapt learning around the individual student
A genuine passion for helping young people make progress
