SEN TUTOR 1:1 Tuition | SEN | EBSA | Anxiety | Flexible Support Academics are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support to children and young people across the Medway area. Are you a SEN Tutor, Teacher, HLTA or experienced education professional who is passionate about helping children who have struggled to engage with mainstream education? This could be the opportunity for you! The Role As a SEN Tutor, you will work on a 1:1 basis with children and young people who may be experiencing: SEN and additional learning needs EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) Anxiety and school-related barriers Low confidence and motivation Difficulties engaging with education Social, emotional and behavioural needsYou will provide a calm, supportive and nurturing learning environment, building a positive relationship with the student and helping them to rebuild their confidence in education. What We're Looking For We would love to hear from SEN Tutors and Teachers who have: Experience working with children or young people with SEN Understanding of EBSA, anxiety or school avoidance A patient, nurturing and trauma-informed approach Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or intervention The ability to adapt learning around the individual student A genuine passion for helping young people make progress Why Work Through Academics?
