Electrical Engineering Trainer £50,000 - £55,000 + Full Training Into Teaching + Company Bonuses + Pool Vehicles + Additional Benefits Site based in Rochester with some travel to customer sites, commutable from Chatham, Gravesend, Rainham, Maidstone Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong industrial engineering experience looking to move away from traditional engineering work and into a varied technical training role, where you will be fully invested in to gain your teaching qualifications? Would you like to use your electrical engineering knowledge to train engineers and industrial clients, getting full training into teaching and ensuring you keep a great work life balance in a days based position? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small and expanding engineering training company, where you will design and deliver specialist technical training courses for engineers and industrial clients. You will primarily be based at the company's training centre, delivering electrical engineering and industrial electrical maintenance training courses. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites across the UK and overseas roughly once a month, providing a varied role with no two training courses necessarily being the same. Full support and development will be provided to help you become a qualified instructor. The key requirements are strong electrical engineering knowledge, industrial experience and the ability to communicate technical subjects clearly and engagingly. As part of a small team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider running and development of the business, giving you genuine responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact. The Role: Design electrical engineering and industrial electrical maintenance training courses Deliver training to small cohorts of engineers Travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas with potential weekend work. Build and develop training rigs and practical training equipment Research technical subjects and develop course content and training materials Contribute to the wider activities of a small and expanding training provider The Person: Strong industrial Electrical Engineering experience Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and electrical maintenance Previous teaching or training experience is advantageous but not essential Motivated to find improvements and work with a tight knit team Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
