SERVICE ADVISOR
Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 6:00pm
1 in 2 Saturday mornings
We’re recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join an established automotive dealership.
This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused automotive professional looking to join a busy aftersales department with a strong team environment and long-term career prospects.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing customers throughout the service and repair process, from booking vehicles into the workshop through to collection.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Booking customers and vehicles into the workshop
* Preparing job cards and repair orders
* Discussing vehicle requirements and repair work with customers
* Providing estimates and keeping customers updated
* Liaising closely with Technicians and the Workshop Controller
* Identifying additional work and upselling where appropriate
* Managing customer expectations
* Handling queries and resolving issues professionally
* Ensuring vehicles are completed and ready for collection
* Delivering a consistently high level of customer service
What We’re Looking For
* Previous Service Advisor / Aftersales experience
* Strong automotive knowledge
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment
* Professional, positive and commercially aware approach
