Senior Quantity Surveyor | Hampshire Coast (Hybrid) | £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits | Permanent Ceto Talent are supporting a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Southampton team. This is a genuine Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor opportunity where you'll lead projects, mentor junior team members and help support the continued growth of a successful regional team. Working across education, healthcare, defence, coastal defence, commercial and public sector projects, you'll take ownership of commercial delivery whilst building long-term client relationships and supporting future work-winning activity. What you'll need * MRICS qualified or actively working towards Chartership within the next 6-12 months * Strong Quantity Surveying and Cost Management experience * NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge * Experience leading commercial delivery on projects * Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills * Background within consultancy, contractor, infrastructure or building sectors * Commercially aware with a proactive approach What you'll be doing * Leading the commercial delivery of projects from inception through to completion * Managing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and reporting * Administering NEC and/or JCT contracts * Building and maintaining strong client relationships * Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors * Contributing to bids, proposals and business development activities * Ensuring successful project outcomes across cost, quality and programme Additional information * Salary £60,000 - £70,000 * Potential annual bonus * Permanent position * Hybrid working * 3 days per week office or site based * Southampton office location * Strong pipeline of local and national projects * ons would be advantageous
