TP Select is currently recruiting a skilled Sales Manager for our client, an established UK manufacturer specialising in data centre hardware. Our client engineers and produces a broad range of IT infrastructure equipment — supplying hyperscale operators, cloud providers, and telecoms companies with adaptable, high-performance, and environmentally conscious products.
This full-time, hybrid Sales Manager position is based in Cambridgeshire. In this role, the Sales Manager will focus on growing sales revenue, building and maintaining strong client relationships across a variety of sectors, and uncovering new commercial opportunities.
What the Sales Manager Role Involves
* Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and providing bespoke solutions
* Overseeing the sales pipeline and analysing market trends to shape strategy
* Working alongside internal departments to maintain customer satisfaction and contribute insights for product development
What We're Looking For in a Sales Manager
* A background in sales, account management, or client relationship development
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation abilities
* Familiarity with data centre hardware, IT infrastructure, or comparable technologies
* Skilled in market research, business development, and strategic thinking
* Hands-on experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
* A degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline
* Comfortable working both independently and within a cross-functional team
* Previous exposure to the data centre, IT, or wider technology sector would be beneficial
