Job Description
SEND Teaching Assistant £100-£117 per day Morning sessions initially - full days to follow Remedy Education are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children with SEND, predominantly autism, in a supportive school setting in South East London. The role will initially be mornings only, with the opportunity to move to full-time hours. We're looking for someone who: Has experience working with children with SEND/autism, ideally within EYFS or KS1 Is calm, patient and consistent when supporting children with regulation Is proactive and confident, able to take initiative without always waiting to be directed Can support communication, including children with limited or emerging spoken language Is confident using visual supports, individual targets and structured activities Can support learning through play, continuous provision and focused 1:1/small-group activities Is flexible and able to adapt to individual needs Communicates well with children and adults Is reliable and able to provide consistencyWe are ideally looking to identify a couple of suitable candidates who may be available to meet or trial for the role.
