Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £46,(Apply online only)–£56,500 OTE depending on shift, experience, qualifications and overtime

HGV Technician – Days or Nights
Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a well-paid permanent role in Portsmouth?
We are recruiting experienced HGV Technicians to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop, with a choice of day or night shifts and earning potential of up to £56,500.

Day Shift
Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
Alternate Saturdays, 08:00–12:00
40 hours per week
Night Shift
Monday–Friday, 17:00–01:30
40 hours per week
The Role
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, you will:
Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
Carry out mechanical and electrical diagnostics
Diagnose and repair vehicle faults and defects
Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
Carry out MOT preparation and rectification work
Complete job cards and workshop documentation
Work to manufacturer and DVSA standards
Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
Full UK driving licence
Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification desirable
HGV Class 1 or dealership experience advantageous
