This home-based position, covering the Southwest region including Bristol, South Dorset, Devon, and Cornwall, offers a competitive salary of £50k-£55k, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key duties and responsibilities: - Proactively manage and serve existing customers, maximising sales possibilities. - Identify and target potential new accounts. - Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. - Utilise expertise to add value to customer interactions. - Negotiate prices to secure orders. - Create regular reports and attend sales meetings. - Maintain and update the company's database and CRM system. - Monitor and feedback on competitor and market activities. - Deliver presentations and training sessions on products and services. - Resolve customer complaints and concerns. - Quote smartly to ensure the right product is offered for the right application. - Attend exhibitions and trade shows as required. - Visit customers and prospects a minimum of three days a week. Skills and experience: - Sales experience - Strong technical understanding of sales market trends. - Proven track record in technical sales within the Distribution/Wholesale/Re-seller market. - Experience in sales management or supervisory roles, ideally with regional responsibility. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and sales reporting tools. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Clean driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
