Building Regulations Consultant

Building Regulations Consultant Location: UK-wide / Remote Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + package Job Type: Permanent We are working with an established compliance group looking to appoint an experienced Building Regulations Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates across the UK, with flexibility to offer any preferred office presence where possible. Monthly team meet-ups are ideal but not essential. The role would suit an experienced RBI with strong technical competency across Building Regulations. Class 2E+ is preferred, with Class 3G/3H considered the gold standard, although the client is flexible on classification for the right person. The Role * Provide building regulations consultancy and technical advice across a varied project portfolio * Review and assess designs for compliance with Building Regulations * Liaise with clients, designers and other stakeholders throughout the project * Identify and resolve technical and compliance issues * Manage your own workload while working remotely * Opportunity to utilise Principal Designer (PD) experience You'll ideally have: * Current RBI registration, ideally Class 2E+ * Strong knowledge of the Building Regulations * Previous building control / building regulations consultancy experience * Experience across a range of project types * Class 3G/3H experience would be highly advantageous * Principal Designer experience would be advantageous but is not essential * Strong communication and client-facing skills What's on Offer? * Fully remote – candidates considered across the UK * £70,000 – £80,000 salary + package, depending on experience * Permanent position with an immediate start * Varied and technically interesting project portfolio * Opportunity to develop both RBI and PD experience If you're an experienced RBI / Building Regs professional looking for a flexible, remote permanent opportunity, we'd be keen to hear from you.
