Job Description
Finance Manager – Energy Infrastructure Project
📍 West Midlands | 6-Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a major, large-scale infrastructure project in the West Midlands on a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and variance analysis.
Prepare monthly financial reports, closing packs and management information.
Oversee Accounts Payable, supplier/subcontractor payments and reconciliations.
Manage project cash flow, treasury, collections and payment forecasting.
Review contractual payment terms, bonds, guarantees and insurance requirements.
Support month-end close, WIP calculations and project cost reporting.
Reconcile project costs with accounting and cost-control records.
Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, PAYE and pension requirements.
Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, commercial teams and project management.
Identify financial risks, opportunities and areas for improved cost control
