The Role As the successful Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 Create a positive classroom environment where children feel confident to learn Adapt teaching to meet different abilities, needs and learning styles Monitor pupil progress and use assessment effectively Promote high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development Work closely with colleagues and support staff Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the schoolThe Ideal Candidate The school is looking for a teacher who: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Has experience teaching within KS1, or strong recent experience within primary education Has a secure understanding of the primary curriculum and child development Can demonstrate strong classroom practice Has high expectations of all pupils Is creative, enthusiastic and adaptable Works effectively as part of a collaborative team Has excellent communication and organisational skills Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfareA good sense of humour, flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children would also be highly valued.
