Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer – Multi-Skilled Construction Location: Greater Manchester Salary: £31,517.10–£44,790.30 Pro Rata (£35,019–£49,767 FTE) Pension: 28.68% Job Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to join our Construction team and help students develop the skills needed for successful careers in the industry. About the Role • Deliver Carpentry & Joinery to Level 1–3 students, with potential involvement in Level 2 apprenticeships. • Support multi-trade construction skills and maintenance operations alongside your main Carpentry & Joinery teaching. • Provide practical, learner-focused education and prepare students for employment and progression. • Develop curriculum and teaching strategies that enable learners to succeed. About You • Qualified Carpenter/Joiner with significant experience in both site carpentry and bench joinery. • We are looking for someone who can offer the full package, with wider experience in property maintenance, renovation and general building. • Experience in roofing, flooring, plasterboarding, kitchen fitting, doors, windows, plumbing, electrical work or general maintenance would be advantageous. • Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable. • Level 5 teaching qualification / Certificate in Education desirable, although NQT status will be considered.
